Service Projects

Rainbows is a support group to assit children and youth to deal with loss - through death, divorce, separation or abandonment. We have provided $10,000.00 to set up a new larger location and a new expanded program. Wendat is a support group for adults suffering from mental illness. They have a community center where they meet to socialize and receive professional support. We have provided $10,000.00 for a new kitchen. E.A.R. is a screening program to test the hearing of all Senior Kdg. Students in our North Simcoe schools. We were the first club partner with E.A.R. and last year 668 tests were done with 91 referrals to audiology clinics. We are committed to helping this program ongoing at a cost of $3500.00 per year. Midland Summer Camp - We were able to provide funding to send 27 underpriviledged children to summer camp this summer. Other Projects: Quota Park Ontario Camp for the Deaf Hearing and Speech assistive devices for schools Spa Day for little sisters Teddy Bears to Fire Departments, Rainbows, Nursing Homes, Funeral Homes, and Children's Aid Society Computers for children with special needs.
