The Quota club of Orillia Inc. was chartered in June 18, 1945. United internationally, it serves the international mandates of helping hearing and speech impaired persons, disadvantaged women and children, and community and world service. Our “Motto is “WE SHARE” and with a membership of 30 energetic women, the Quota Club of Orillia raised over $20,000 in the past year to support local and world projects. The Quota Club of Orillia Inc. meets every first and third Monday of the month from September to June. The meetings are held at the Highwayman Inn at 201 Woodside Drive in Orillia. The first Monday is the meeting at which we discuss business getting reports from our various committees. The second meeting is our social meeting, a time for fun and fellowship. This is where our program committee members put their imagination to work. We are very proud to have had Past Internal President Helen MacDonald as a member for over 35 years before she transferred to the Quota International of Mariposa (Silver Q). We are also proud of our past Canada Area Director Suzanne Prossor (2006-2008), and Past District Governor Heather Fell (1998-99).
